Oil is Running on Empty:
An Analysis of Alternative Fuels and Electric Automobiles 

Why I chose this topic:

Growing up surrounded by people who were either vehemently opposed to oil or reluctant to drive an electric car I became interested in why the fuel that a car uses is a polarizing topic. Moreover, I wanted to understand the dramatic shift in the automobile industry and what effects it will have for years to come.

Future Plans:

I lived in Northern Virginia for my entire life but I will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology in the Fall to study engineering. Eventually I plan on becoming an aerospace or electrical engineer.
